how weird my heart is. We went to the cardiologist one time, they did some tests, and basically they said "Too bad for you, you've got some weird heart problems. There's nothing we can do, but you're probably not going to die or anything. You'll just have to freak out and scare everyone the rest of your life."
Basically, what will happen sometimes, either just out of the blue or when I was running or something, my heart will start beating really fast (which may seem normal, but I mean really, really fast) or slow or seemingly stop for a few minutes and sometimes I faint or almost faint and I'll get really confused and stuff. Drinking water does not help, because that's not the fixing the problem.
So a few days ago, in gym class, we were checking our pulse after we ran and then rested for a few minutes. No one could find my pulse. Everyone was confused and freaked out.
Then one time, what concerned me (and everyone else) is it was at 34 right after I just ran really fast. And also, it got really high once, I want to say 306, but I don't think that's possible, but it was ridiculous. Definitely above 200. And we definitely measured my pulse correctly, other people checked.
Yay for being a freak.

The Spoken Word in Japanese! / タースーポケンーワルウド
The poem at the end of ...but home is nowhere. I did this last year. I can't find the completed file at the moment, but here is the first part. (I do have an image version of the completed file here, but it might be hard to read.)
わたしたちは きのうのよる ちきゅうで ておにぎった。
Watashitachi ha kinounoyoru chikyuude teonigitta.
わたしたちの くちは ほこりでうまった。
Watashitachi no kuchiha hokurideumatta.
わたしたちは きのしたで くちずけをした。
Watashitachi ha kinoshitade kuchizukewoshita.

そして、 それはまるで きせつがまぼろしのようにきえた。
Soshite, sorehamarude kisetsugamaborushinoyounikieta.
I thought that was pretty cool. I can't believe I did that. (With some help from my teacher.) There could be some errors, but I tried.

....not exactly my definition of "best birthday ever."
First of all, on Friday, my mom woke me up early like I thought she was going to do before she went to work. As soon as she did, she told me that Grandma is in the hospital. We drove down to the hospital, which is about an hour and a half away, and then my dad and I sat in the ER waiting room while mom and my aunt checked on Grandma. It turns out she was taken off her anxiety medicine too fast, and if that happens, then the patient can have homicidal tendencies and be really, really, stressed out and weird. She had a nervous breakdown and tore up her house. Apparently she fell a bunch of times (she has some minor cuts and bruises) and then she broke a lot of things. She threw all of her picture frames on the floor, and she put a few random ones back on the shelf. Then she broke her favorite lamp. Etc, etc. We can replace the lamp, which just a few bulbs were broken, but thankfully, she didn't get seriously hurt or break anything we can't replace, because she would be really, really sad for a long time if she did. There was broken glass everywhere. She walked through it, without noticing it. She called an ambulance, thankfully, and ended up in the ER. Then the psychiatric ward, probably for about a week or two. She's already a lot better than she was though.
...But later that day, my parents told me I could go to an AFI concert in Richmond, VA. The day wasn't necessarily fun, but good things can come out of the bad. And my grandma's getting better.

Disclaimer: This may get a bit preachy, teenage girl-ish and/or really weird. But you may find it interesting...
I just got back from another camp I went to with my church youth group. We did mission work. One of the groups played with underprivileged children. Another group visited a nursing home. My group also visited a nursing home. We cleaned out bad-smelling closets, visited the bedridden, I played the same six songs on piano for 45 minutes (Love Like Winter included. A guy that worked there came up to me and asked me the name of that song and he said it was really beautiful.), helped them play bingo, and helped with a bunch of other stuff. There was a lady there, Amanda, that was 96. She was tiny, and quiet, for the most part, but she sure did have some major attitude. First of all, she was seriously one of the best people I'd ever heard play piano. Second, she wanted to play piano when a Native American guy came to play the flute for the people. Third, when we played bingo, after they had only called two animals, which is what we used instead of numbers, she had her card filled up. Which had 9 spaces. Mae, the head staff lady who worked with us, told us not to try to help Amanda when playing bingo.
We did have worship every morning and night, but it was nothing at all like church. The Jeff Johnson band played for us every time. They are amazing performers. Seriously. Then a guy named Chris Brooks talked to us for a while. He made us do an introduction. What he said is in bold. Hi. Hello. Hello. Hi. How are you? Good, how are you? Good. I SAID WGEEE (makes the rock symbol with his hand and waves it by his side. Which means nothing at all, by the way) (we do that too) WGEEGEE. Watchin' you... (points to eyes and then to him) like a llama. Feed them chickens. (put one hand out and the the other hand like a chicken and make chicken noise.) Feed them chickens high. (girls do same thing except really high-pitched. Feed them chickens low. (boys do same thing except really low.) FEED THEM ANGRY CHICKENZZZ!!!!!! (we all do same thing except really loud and spastic and almost screaming. (hits chest two times) Dove love... (we take two fingers and make them fly away like birds) from above. It's me! IT'S ME!
So Chris Brooks talked to us about stuff. (Very descriptive, I know.) While we were there, quite a few people that were atheists became Christians. Dead serious. (You might be thinking "Well why did atheists go to a Christian camp?" Simply because it's fun for everyone and their friends probably wanted them to go.) It was that moving. What was really interesting is that he often talked about things from a non-Christian and a Christian's point of view. He told us an interesting fact: 61% of people who grew up Christian will end up not Christian. He talked about why. And that we should change our image. If you want to read about stuff from camp, you can go here.
But if you ever hear about a Student Life conference anywhere near you, I suggest you look into going to it, even if you aren't Christian. You might learn something.
And about all the new people I met. Well, Kay'La, is from near Houston, Texas, and we decided that she is one of my best friends. It was funny. She's awesome, and doesn't get why her parents put an apostrophe in her name. Alyssa and Rebecca also go to her church. Then the Indiana people. I lovelovelove some of them. We fit together really well. Because a lot of us have ADD. After fifteen minutes, most people kinda forgot that I just met them. It was an accident that I ran into their group. Because I was walking back to my dorm during free time because Frances wouldn't get out of the golf cart or something like that, I ended up kinda in the middle of their group somehow (ADD attack I bet) and I asked Sara, whom I did not know at the time "Hey, can I walk around with you because my friend won't get out of a golf cart and I'm being a loner?" She laughed and said sure. Then I met Bree. Who is amazing, and I think we're going to be really good friends. And Ian, Sara, and Tiahna. Who are also amazing.
Thenn I met this guy who I think liked me. He's really cute. One day, he looked directly at me through a window and smiled. Then he was always awkward and nervous around me. I got some digits, as Parker would say, but haven't called or texted him yet. Maybe later.
When we build these dreams on sand, how they all slip through our hands. This might be our only chance. Let's take this one day at a time, I'll hold your hand if you hold mine. The time that we kill keeps us alive. (How I love that song. Rumours of My Demise Have Been Greatly Exaggerated by Rise Against.)

Some of the important things I've learned in my life.
• Play-Doh doesn't taste good, no matter how good it smells.
• Air freshener can stain your skin.
• Don't leave earrings with small backings in your ears for too long.
• Hospitals are not fun places when you're stuck there for an extended period of time.
• Don't leave those stickers from EKGs on too long. They will be really, really hard to pull off.
• Milk cartons do not make good pets.
• Cherish everything while you still have it. I know that sounds cheesy and you've probably heard it a bajillion times, but it's true. Soon enough, you might lose something near and dear to you.
• Often people don't realize the value of what they have until it's gone.
• Don't try to cut your hair, or really anyone's hair for that matter, if you don't know how and/or you don't have good scissors. Especially if you're four and you try to use safety scissors.
• Your mom WILL find out if you dye your hair orange.
• Sun-In generally does not give the results on the package. It's unpredictable.
• If something makes you sick/feel bad/have an allergic reaction, don't eat it again. I know that's common sense for most of us, but some people... *sigh*
• If there is a big sale somewhere, go as soon as possible, otherwise the good stuff will usually be gone.
• Don't buy shoes or clothes if they don't fit. Seriously. If they don't have what you want in your size/a size that's not uncomfortable, then buy it somewhere else. It doesn't matter if it's on sale at that store.
• Please don't pretend you passed out. Just don't.
• If you feel like you are going to pass out, please immediately sit or lie down.

continued. well, sort of.
Continued from here.
I like to think that I've changed as a person in the past few months. In good ways. For one, I stopped being a scene kid. I'm way past that now. Second, I honestly believe that I've become more mature. I know that may sound stupid, but what I mean is being more organized and thinking differently. And other things, but I'm tired so I might add that later. Generally being able to complete tasks without getting distracted. I still am confused as to who I am as a person, but I guess that's natural for everyone. I'm not entirely sure where I belong, but it's surely somewhere other than here, probably far west. Someday. Meaning in about five years... time passes quickly. Last thing I knew, it was six years ago.
Someday.
Next thing I know, it will be tomorrow.
Let's take this one day at a time. I'll hold your hand if you hold mine.

Okay, maybe not.
Almost everyone I know confuses me. They think they're things that they are most definitely not. They get mad at you for something that you didn't do. Not like they just are angry and frustrated at everyone all day, but specifically mad at you, for whatever odd reason, because they would not listen to you, and you did nothing wrong.
But, there are a few people in my life that I swear must be angels.
A few of my friends and I are trying to get together a band... I keep saying we could have a song by 9-9-09... I want to... but we might. Okay, maybe not. But maybe.
AND I LIKE JADE'S PURPLE PANTS. I HAVE PANTS THAT ARE VERY, (weirdly) SIMILAR. WE CAN BE TWINS.

Yay.
I haven't posted in a while, but this is my new favorite video.
My favorite part is the "I put worms in my bed and slept in my bed. I put a squirrel in my bed and mustard in my bed and I ate them all. Is that bad?" (0:51)
So, what's up with me? I hope to buy hair extensions soon. The clip-in kind, though. Still, I'm probably going to wear them almost every day. I want 20" extensions. Probably black or blue. Most likely black.

I haven't posted in a while...
I feel like explaining my close[r] friends, because some of them are... uhm... interesting people.
Alex - Wacky girl. The one that can make anything be funny. Crazy, and not always the most polite to adults, but she is one of my best friends and I lovee her very much. But she fails her classes. :(
Anna- Again, wacky girl. Anna likes to skip around in a chain with Tara and I. No, seriously.
Ariana- She's the pretty one that is more rational than everyone else at my lunch table. That is all.
Ashaki- The girl that is always funny and crazy and perverted and loves you and is ultra-awesome.
Brenna- The smart girl who's good with computers but absolutely cannot spell. At all.
Corina- That crazy girl who's smart and can dance well.
Gabby- The girl you want to be friends with. She's always sososo nice and happy and polite to everyone.
Izzy (me‼)- The one that is really motherly, apparently, and hides under the sink or will forcibly put you into your bed after half an hour of telling you to go to sleep. Always tells you to bring a jacket/long pants/closed-toed shoes when you're going to the carnival, or zips up your purse or backpack, or ties your shoes, etc, etc, etc. Everyone I know apparently doesn't mind it. :)
Jake- He is just awesome and funny and has nice hair and has good taste in music. Plus he is on the track team with me. He's probably one of the coolest boys I know. But he's in eighth grade and leaving next year.
Julie- SHE IS COMPLETELY OBSESSED WITH RUSSIA. But she is superfly.
Katrina- Likes to read, quiet sometimes, goes along with many things, funny without trying at all to be.
Kate N.- Obsessed with Austria and Germany, but way less than Julie. Rides my bus.
Kate T.- I've known her since first grade and she's funny, and less weird than so many other people. Likes to read.
Lina- My anime/manga/anything Japanese buddy. I love her much. One of my best friends.
Lizzie- She is one of my best friends, also. We're crazy together. The end. It's hard to describe.
Mary Beth- That girl who does whatever weird things she wants to, as long as they're safe, and yeah hard to describe.
Kat- You also want to be friends with her. She is one of those people that is kinda like Gabby. Except different, of course. :D
Nadira- One of my best friends. Funny and pretty and insane. She was the one I came up with our "smoking joke" that no one else gets. XD She's Indonesian, she's 5'7"/5'8", and I don't have much doubt that she could be a supermodel or Miss Indonesia one day.
Naila- The one who can dance well and is completely ay-may-zing.
Natalie- The one who we joke that I've been "stalking" since last year because I see her in the hallway ALL THE TIME.
Pat-Pat: That weird kid who looks kinda like John Lennon with his glasses. Slightly. The one who got the bottom of his shoe ripped off.
Patrick- My bisexual friend who is totally cool and knows who Jeffree Star is.
Tara- The one who's nickname is "sexy." That is a long story. She's one of the most perverted people I know, but I still love her. She likes black.
I guess I'll add to this later, some? I hope it wasn't too boring. XD

Drawing.
I love to draw.
I'm working on something new now, I just downloaded Paint Tool Sai, and now I have better capability of coloring things.
So, stuff I've done ==> http://shinigamiiz-izzy.deviantart.com/
There's not much there yet, because I completely forgot about DeviantArt for a long time. And I didn't have much of a chance to scan stuff in because of so much homework. However, amongst all the old stuff, there's a new drawing of the girl in the Girl's Not Grey music video and a sketch of Jade Puget.
And: here's my new Twitter. My username was formerly EFband, but I changed it to 338 because a) I think it's easier to remember b) I like it because 338, I suspect, is supposed to be "what comes after" since 336 was "what comes before." It also makes me think of The Spoken Word, Clandestine, and a bunch of stuff. And maybe DECEMBERUNDERGROUND.
I'm surprised that I have a 3-letter username now. Especially 338. I thought that would have been taken.

And this. Cuteness overload.
This never gets old.

It kills me not to know this, but I've all but just forgotten what the color of her eyes were and her scars or how she got them...
Eh... I have "Savior" stuck in my head...
So... I'm happy and sad at the same time.
Long story.
No, not really, I just say that when I don't feel like talking.
So, Turner posted a video on facebook of Ashaki licking a pig heart we were dissecting in science class.
We're so normal, I know. I personally think that was a ridiculously stupid idea. And that it was gross.
I don't really get why there's a video of Susan dancing around with Leah's laundry basket on her head. Someone was bored.
Honestly, that's probably something I'd do, though.

Cole is going to shoot all the kids who clap during the movies, apparently.
Yeah... about the title...
We were watching Ice Age 2: The Meltdown a week ago at school because we were good kids and we had done 16 good things in the last 9 weeks. :)
So these obnoxious children started clapping when something funny, good, etc, happened in the movie. Oh yes, sixth graders. We weren't THAT obnoxious as sixth graders.
IN RESPONSE TO WHAT MUNCH SAID;
I think my rabbit would like to say something.

I knew she was a genius. She almost typed "video." Now I have rabbit hair all over the keyboard, but whatever.

In rabbit, that means "WELL FORGET YOU. THAT'S NOT MY PROBLEM."
Basement horse.

The star beneath the stairs.
Hello.
I'm Izzy/Jade. That's about all I'll say, because that's all I really need to say. My personal blog with stories of the weirdness in my life. Yup.
♥
I like to play electric guitar, piano, draw, write, sing, be a Guitar Hero, or run around with caution tape and bubbles with my friends. (Anna, Alex, and I did that last night.)
My friend Justin calls me "Spazzy" instead of Izzy. So does Shantan. I'mma spazz. Can't help it. Deal. So if I say anything too weird... then sorry.
Favorite music: AFI, Blaqk Audio, Avenged Sevenfold, Rise Against, Tiger Army...
This are examples of my friends/everyday life. Mixed with various other sources.
1. "Against the wall" - With my back against the wall, we throw ourselves against the wall. (Dunno why I like this.)
2."Kiss my "arss" and lay me to sleep.''- (sounds like it if you turn volume down in Prelude 12/21)
3. Ashaki's song - "Eatin' peaches... with my b****es." (You probably will never get that.)
She's also the one who was dared to lick a pig heart we were dissecting in science class, and she did. What a stupid idea, honestly.
4. "decemberunderground is a time and a place. It is where the cold can huddle together in darkness and isolation. It is a community of those detached and disillusioned who flee to love, like winter, in the recesses below the rest of the world."- Davey Havok
5. "And the man will kill us all - "Psychosocial" as interpreted by cousin Ryan. (He's 10.)
6. "That's a cummulobutticus cloud, or a cummulohinnius cloud!" - Science teacher. When we were talking about air masses, and on the slide show, there was a drawing of a desert, and there was a cloud that unintentionally looked like a butt. (At least we hope unintentionally.)
7. "You stupid." - people banging on lockers in hallway, science teacher walks into hallway, as soon as walks out of room, kid in hallway says "You stupid." Not sure if it was directed at him, but everyone was laughing.
8. "Does anyone know what secular means? Great vocabulary word. No, not sexular." - Language arts teacher. (whenever something has the word "sex" in it, or it sort of sounds like it/some kid tries to be funny by making the word sound like it, everyone starts laughing.)
9. "ELEPHANT!" - little girl at mall that looks directly at Alex, then says that.
10. "Smart one." - Alex is famous for this.
11. "Act your age, not your shoe size." - Commonly said... it's kind of an old phrase.
12. Me- "Well my shirt has a purpley/pink reptilian thing listening to an ipod." "It looks more like a demented Barney with a cell phone. - Lee.
13. "Happiness is like a butterfly: the more you chase it, the more it will elude you. But if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder." - Henry David Thoreau
14. "If you get me mad, I will eat you. Just thought I'd let you know. :)" - Dhea
15. "And we are outside, because inside is boring and dull." - Nemi
15. "Shut up! Just kidding, I love you." - Alex
